Our Story

We’re a little home-grown project from a small crew in a bayside suburb of Melbourne, Australia.

It all began with Marley

How SniffLab Started

SniffLab™ began with our Kelpie, Marley — a smart, energetic pup who knew his “place” perfectly at home but struggled to settle anywhere new. Between distractions, wet grass, and dusty ground, training outside wasn’t easy.

We couldn’t find anything simple, portable, and easy to clean — so we made our own. What started as a fix for one dog has grown into a way to help all dogs find calm, wherever they are.

Our Pack

    An energetic Australian Kelpie, who inspired the need for something truly portable and practical.

  • 🐱 Pongo

    A 14-year-old cat with plenty of opinions and zero chill.

  • 👦🏽 RJ

    A curious 6-year-old human, excellent at “testing” everything.

  • 👩🏽🤝👨🏼 Damo

    My partner, who keeps us grounded and makes sure the ideas don’t get too wild.

  • 👩🏽💻 Gracie

    And me — a Digital Product Designer by day (I usually build mobile apps, not dog mats!).

What Matters to Us

We believe calm, happy dogs make calm, happy homes. Our goal is to make enrichment simple — not something that adds to your day, but something that fits naturally into it.

Every product we create encourages curiosity, connection, and calm — helping dogs relax through natural behaviours like sniffing, foraging, and resting.
